EVERYTHING WE KNOWHuawei has officially unveiled the Watch 6 and Watch 6 Pro, the successors to the Watch 5, alongside the Watch GT 7 and Watch D3. The pair leads on health sensing and display brightness, with the Pro pushing into genuinely premium materials — and a ceramic option returns at the top of the range.
TWO TIERS, PREMIUM MATERIALS
The standard Watch 6 comes in aluminum or stainless steel, while the Watch 6 Pro steps up to a titanium or ceramic case. Both use a round LTPO OLED display protected by scratch-resistant sapphire glass. The base model hits 3,000 nits of brightness, and the top-end Pro reaches 3,500 nits — bright enough to stay readable in direct sun.
THE HEALTH STORY
On the sensor front, Huawei pairs the usual heart-rate and SpO2 sensors with an ECG. The standout is the updated X-Tap sensor on the right side of the case: place a finger on it and it collects 14 health metrics. It now uses twelve channels instead of the four on the Watch 5, which Huawei says makes it roughly twice as sensitive. There are also over 100 sport modes, and the Pro adds an exclusive Expedition app that shows a map and lets you mark waypoints.
BATTERY & SIZES
Battery life splits by case size. The smaller 42/43mm versions last about three days with typical use, or up to a week in power-saving mode; the 46mm models stretch to between 4.5 and 11 days depending on use.

The Watch 6 series is expected to go on sale on September 23, at least in the UK and Europe. In the UK the base Watch 6 starts at £399.99 (about $540), while the Watch 6 Pro starts at £599.99 (about $810). As usual for Huawei, wider availability and any US plans are the open questions.
