TWO TIERS, PREMIUM MATERIALS

Brightness is a headline: the base model hits 3,000 nits, and the top-end Pro reaches 3,500 nits — bright enough to stay readable in direct sun.
THE HEALTH STORY: ECG AND A SMARTER X-TAP
On the sensor front, Huawei pairs the usual heart-rate and SpO2 sensors with an ECG. The standout is the updated X-Tap sensor on the right side of the case: place a finger on it and it collects 14 health metrics. It now uses twelve channels instead of the four on the Watch 5, which Huawei says makes it roughly twice as sensitive. There are also over 100 sport modes, and the Pro adds an exclusive Expedition app that shows a map and lets you mark waypoints.
BATTERY AND SIZES
Battery life splits by case size. The smaller 42/43mm versions last about three days with typical use, or up to a week in power-saving mode. The 46mm models stretch to between 4.5 and 11 days depending on how hard you push them.
