Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 (Ultra & S12+): Release Date and What to Expect
Samsung's next premium tablets — the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and Tab S12+ — are tipped for an October 7, 2026 launch, a month later than the Tab S11. Here's what's leaked so far.
DEVELOPINGSamsung's next premium tablets, the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S12+, are pegged for an October 7, 2026 launch according to a roadmap leak. They arrive as part of Samsung's broader autumn line-up — see the full roadmap leak for everything launching around them.
THE DATE
October 7 is about a month later than the Tab S11 series, which landed in September 2025 — so this is a small slip rather than an acceleration. As with previous generations, the leak names an Ultra and a Plus model, with no sign of a smaller base Tab in this wave.
Both tablets have surfaced in Google Play Console listings alongside the Galaxy S26 FE, which is usually a reliable signal that certification and software are well along — the kind of paper trail that tends to precede a launch by a matter of weeks.
WHAT'S MISSING
The leak is stronger on timing than on hardware: full spec sheets, chipset details and — crucially — pricing haven't appeared yet. For premium tablets that can run well past flagship-phone money, price will be the detail to watch.
HOW WE RATE IT
The October 7 launch sits at LIKELY, backed by multiple outlets and Play Console certification. Specifications and pricing are unconfirmed. We'll update this hub as more of the Tab S12 picture leaks.
